Suzuki Preps a Pair of Concept Bikes for Tokyo

Not to be outdone by Honda and its EVO6, Suzuki plans to unveil a pair of equally wild concept bikes in Tokyo.

The aeronautically inspired Biplane (shown here) promises to be the star of the Suzuki stand. Information in the company's teaser press release is slight, and the wording is obtuse at best ("it designates the kind of image which is riding the airplane"), but we can say that the bike will feature a V-4 engine.

The Crosscage (shown after the break) eschews internal combustion altogether, in favor of a fuel-cell-fed electric motor and a lithium-ion battery pack.

The 40th Tokyo Motor Show starts October 26 at the Makuhari Messe convention center, and runs through November 11.
